[Eng x Mand] Homemade Steamed Minced Pork 太阳瓜子肉

Homemade Steamed Minced Pork is a typical Taiwanese household dish. In Malaysia, we have a few adaptions to this famous dish too. These adaptions generally use ingredients which are more commonly found in Malaysia. Nevertheless, let's make this dish in Taiwanese way, it tastes similarly addictive too!
300g Minced pork belly
1/2can Canned pickled lettuce, chopped + 2 tbsp of the juice from the can
1 stalk Spring Onion, chopped
1tsp Cooking wine
1.5tbsp Soy sauce
1 Egg, separating yolk
White pepper, to taste
Place the minced meat in a large mixing bowl. Add in cooking wine, white pepper, pickled juice and soy sauce. Mix well with hand.
Add in the egg white and continue to mix. After adding in pickled lettuce and spring onion, place the mixture onto a plate, spread and even the surface of mixture.
In the middle of the patty, use the back of a spoon to press a small indent. Carefully put the egg yolk into it. Place the plate onto a steaming rack over boiling water, cover and steam for 15-20 minutes.
小菜心半罐 + 小菜心酱汁约2大匙
在肉中间用手或汤匙轻轻按一个浅槽，将蛋黄放进去，把耐热容器放进滚水中，盖上锅盖，镉水蒸 15 - 20 分钟即可。
