1. KL Forest Eco Park
The KL Forest Eco Park (formerly known as Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve) is conveniently located beside the Menara KL Tower. It covers an area of approximately 11000 square metres, and is the habitat to a variety of trees, bamboo, creepers and herbs. There are several well-maintained walking trails in the park, ranging between 300 and 500 metres in length. When you are here, you do not want to miss the Canopy Walk, which is a wood-and-steel aerial bridge that’s about 200 metres in height. The bridge towers offers magnificent views of Menara KL Tower and the KL city skyline.

2. Perdana Botanical Garden
The Perdana Botanical Garden (formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana / Lake Gardens) is located in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. Being the green lung of the city, it was initially created as part of a recreational park. After development of over a decade, the garden have then been rehabilitated as a Botanical Garden due to the collections of tropical plants found here. It is interesting to visit Perdana Botanical Garden and spend some time relaxing in the ambiance of a tropical rainforest, despite being in the middle of a bustling city.

3. Kanching Rainforest Waterfall
The Kanching Rainforest Waterfall is set amidst a spectacular forest reserve. While it is extremely popular among campers, it is also a to-go destination for those who enjoy picnic, jungle walking and swimming. To appreciate the beauty of nature, visitors can walk up the concrete paths to reach levels three and four. The clear and inviting waters will surely thrill those who enjoy swimming. The surroundings and settings of the forest is an altogether great experience.

4. Taman Tasik Titiwangsa
The Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Lake Gardens) is a popular recreational park for the public located near to the heart of city. There are a few lakes in the middle of the park, making it a great place to jog and cycle. Apart from jogging tracks, aqua biking, canoeing and other exciting outdoor activities, visitors can also grab the opportunity to try their hands at the less common facilities available; the horse riding facility and the radio control car racing track.

5. Kepong Lake Garden Metropolitan
The Kepong Metropolitan Park is located at the northern end of Jinjang. It is famous among local residents for the kite flying activities. The vast area in the park makes it an absolute ideal spot for kite-flying. Kite enthusiasts find this park advantageous as most barriers and trees have been removed to ensure a clearance of at least 100m for the kites to take off.
